Douglas Bradley Loper

Brad Loper is a Houston area juvenile, criminal and white collar crime lawyer, licensed to practice law in all Texas Counties, and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Brad currently maintains membership in the National College of DUI Defense, the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

 

Before graduating from South Texas College of Law, Brad interned with the District Attorney’s Office, where he continued to work in juvenile, criminal and white collar law in the Houston area for over 8 years. While an Assistant District Attorney, Brad was a Chief prosecutor in multiple misdemeanor courts.  He was additionally a felony prosecutor in the Family Criminal Law Division, the Writs of Habeas Corpus Division, and was assigned to the 262nd, 182nd, and 263rd District Courts.

 

While an Assistant District Attorney, Brad successfully prosecuted criminal Defendants for offenses, including Driving While Intoxicated, Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Assault – Family Member, Aggravated Assault – Public Servant, Injury to a Child, Sexual Assault of a Child, Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Theft, and Possession of Marijuana.

 

As a defense attorney, Brad has maintained continued success defending citizens accused of all manner of offenses, including Driving While Intoxicated, Drug Possession, Murder, Assault, Theft, White Collar offenses, and investigations for criminal wrongdoing.

 

Brad Loper played baseball for St. Edward’s University, earning an All-Conference award as a senior and graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Brad was born and raised in Houston, Texas. At a young age, he met his wife Mandy, who would eventually become his wife and the mother to his two beautiful daughters.
